Dr. Joe A. Shuler, Jr. has been preaching since 1996 and in pastoral ministry since 2004. He served as Associate Pastor of Unity Friendship Baptist Church in Austin, TX for seven years. He also served as Youth Pastor at First Baptist Church in Austin, TX for eleven years.

Presently, Pastor Shuler leads the dynamic congregation of New Birth Bible Fellowship Church@Pear Valley in Taylor, TX. New Birth Bible Fellowship Church@Pear Valley is committed to inspiring their members to make a difference in their communities. Through outreach programs, the church seeks to serve the spiritual and physical needs of those around them. Pastor Shuler leads the church with a message of faith, hope, and love. He is committed to providing spiritual guidance through the preaching of God's Word, as well as through prayer and care for the members of the church. He is also dedicated to building a strong community of faith, where people of all ages and backgrounds can come together to worship God and serve one another.

 

Pastor Shuler is passionate about equipping believers with the tools they need to live out their faith confidently and effectively. He emphasizes the importance of having a personal relationship with God and encourages his congregation to live out their faith with integrity. Pastor Shuler believes that the church should be a place of refuge, acceptance, and hope. He believes that by creating an atmosphere of love, acceptance and support, people can grow in their faith and share the message of God's love with the world.

 

He has been a pastor for over 20 years and understands the Bible. He is committed to teaching the gospel truth in a way that is accessible and relevant to all.

He is from Lubbock, TX. He studied at Guadalupe Baptist Theological Seminary where he earned a master’s in theology. He later earned a Doctor of Theology from San Antonio Theological College. He and his wife, Diane, are the proud parents of Juanyta, Morice, Victoria, Kylie, Melissa, and Joshua.
